At the GIN club, we try to make as many events as we could in order to collect money for a good cause. This year it’s for building a house for someone who doesn’t have a house. We will be hosting a football game, a basketball game, bake sales, and even selling valentines day cookies.

Capstone Volunteering Project, 2019
10 Hours
Along with a few of my friends, we had a project to volunteer and to give something back to the society. Therefore, we choose to cook hot meals with our parents, go around in the car and give them to people in need. We cooked on different days in different houses on the span of two weeks and did the same thing for every house.

Charity Volunteering, 2019
6 Hours
My friend had a volunteering project that had an event that happened on a weekend. We got there and set up different stations for children that were coming. These kids had special needs along with some of them being orphans. therefore, I had to take extra care of them. I was assigned to the face paint station where I would get pictures on the internet on what they would like to draw on their faces and I would do it for them. There were other stations that were mainly sports related and there was a dance competition as well. At the end, we got them food and snacks and gave it to them before leaving. We stayed afterwards to clean up for everything.
