Reflection #3
It has been different because in Ramadan I always hang out with my friends for iftar and suhoor but this year it’s harder. It’s difficult to do that because you don’t know who your friends are seeing or interacting with. Since we’re immigrants we don’t have a lot of family here and we were used to my grandma travelling here for Ramadan. This year she can’t come over because airports are locked and she has a chronic disease that lowers her immunity system so we don’t want her interacting or seeing new people. For the only family we have in Egypt, we have been interacting with them even before Ramadan. That’s because we both have been quarantined for more than two months. We invited them over on the first day for iftar and they had to sleepover because of the curfews. For decorations, we have put them up on our balconies and even have put a few things around the house. For restaurants, we rarely ate outside in Ramadan even when we hung out with friends for iftar and suhoor we always ate at their houses. I have felt change in one aspect and that is we are not going out and seeing the streets with all the decorations and staying outside till the morning just hanging out. Other than that Ramadan is pretty much the same and nothing can affect my excitement towards it
Reflection #1
It is affecting most of our university applications since I can’t get my papers and transcripts from school. It is negatively affecting my life because I can’t find myself doing anything productive during the day. I have no motivation to wake up and dress up for school. We also don’t know if we’re going to graduate or not and even if we do the ceremony might get canceled. I feel like this might end soon but not enough people are understanding how bad this is by going out and not staying at home. Online classes aren’t as effective as school since we have less time to discuss and ask questions; as well as having internet problems in egypt so you can hear a few words and then the rest is pretty much mumbling. I’m finding it hard as well getting up and doing whatever assignments I’m falling behind on which is why I’m missing so much stuff for all my classes. Positive things that might be happening is that people are taking care of themselves. My family as well is staying safe because no one is going out of the house and everyone is staying safe in quarantine. Online classes are also affecting what we’re learning since not everything is following the curriculum and our tests are mostly online as well as not knowing whether we’re having finals or not.It is affecting most of our university applications since I can’t get my papers and transcripts from school. Teen Role Model

I like Storm Reid because when she was inquired in the event that she may Tesseract anyplace within the world, where would she go, she said she would like to go back into the Respectful Rights Development. She would like to see how to bargain with that and adapt with that presently and come back and see how to alter the long run since she feels isolation and imbalance are still going on.
Emma Gonzalez is one of the survivors of a high school shooting. González has been among the foremost noticeable of the trim of understudy activists pushed onto the national organize within the wake of one of the nation’s most noticeably awful school shootings. The activists have done a wave of interviews, requested officials in Tallahassee and served as a major portion of a CNN weapon viciousness town hall.
I like how Roman Blanchard talks about how people don’t understand the fact that women are told they should be ashamed or embarrassed of being a feminist is the exact reason women need it. It is so important to start teaching young girls and boys about this from an early age. Exposing students to these concepts and ideas helps to create a more tolerant and accepting world. This can be achieved through the media choosing to support talent who also want to spread change and make the world a better place.
Social Responsibility
We first bought the things we needed to create the meals from the supermarket. Then we helped cook these meals. When these meals were finished we put them in plastic plates and got them ready to be distributed. We did this for a few days in order to complete the 10 hours required to complete this project. It helps them because you never know what is going around in someone’s life and how they were thinking. These people might’ve been thinking about how they’re going to eat today because they can’t afford to eat. Others might also save it for their children if they really can’t afford to feed them anything. Giving back to people also would make them in a positive mood after maybe thinking of a burden all day that you solved by just giving them a hot meal. Other than that we are making a difference in the community by helping the people in need. Also by giving out to people in need on the streets it will motivate young people to also help people. It also didn’t need a lot of money to make someone’s life happier even if it was with one precent. When we collected money from each other it was like a small amount from each one that didn’t matter to us but when it was all added to each other it was able to feed people in many places on the span of a few days. I learned that I should give back to my community because the little things that I might not care about might make someone’s day much better and more hopeful. One of the best things actually is to help and make someone feel that they’re feeling to help and give to others. Food was the best thing we could give out because so many people die from starvation around the world and we sometimes waste our food.

Why are social psychologists interested in politics, and how can they help us understand things like social movements, protest and activism? This course, Social psychology and politics, moves away from a state-centric study of politics and, using insights from social psychology, explores the role of identity, personality and culture for political action. The course introduces a critical perspective considering how psychologists themselves can be activists and interrogating the norms of ‘good citizenship’ in Western societies.
Art Course
I started taking this Art course in order to build my portfolio for university applications. I picked to take a course with a professional in order to learn her techniques and get feed back on my work. This course is still ongoing therefore I don’t have many projects.

Capstone Reflection
At the beginning of this course, I thought that it would actually be a very hard course. I had many strengths and weaknesses as a person. One of my weaknesses is that I was terribly afraid of presenting to my classmates. At all times I thought it would be horrible and that I would say something wrong and everyone would laugh or make fun of me. With many projects and presentations that I had to do in order to graduate I had to overcome my fear of presenting. I also joined Model United Nations to help with getting over the fear of public speaking. High school serves many purposes, only some of which are emphasized in our culture. First is it prepares you for the purpose of your career. Although the courses we take in school isn’t in depth information that relates to your career but it gives you background information on what to expect in university. It helps each person develop many skills and it doesn’t have to relate to your career when you graduate. It helps with better communication with written and verbal since programs in school feature advanced writing and speaking assignments. Which trains each person in order to express themselves clearly and communicate more effectively with other people. Critical thinking skills is also another skill that is learned in school. Where it is the ability to think and to think well and positively. This ability which helps ur identify and solve problems comes in handy in your personal and social life as well as your job in the future. School also helps us identify and realize our passions because of the variety of courses we take and decide which ones we prefer than others. Finally, at the end of high school when you’ve earned your diploma you got something to be proud of in front of everybody. With that comes a sense of accomplishment which is something that have the ability to instill you with the confidence to pursue whatever you desire in your own life.
Product of Learning
As a part of capstone 12, we were assigned the task to create a product of learning in which we had to work on something for a month. This product had to relate to what I’m going to study with is Arts. Therefore, I created a portfolio that had many art pieces of many different art medium. These medium consisted of mostly acrylic paintings, oil paintings, graphite sketches and colored graphite sketches.Through this project, I learned how to organize my time in order to reach the amount of sketches I need to complete for the due date since I’m used to work on art whenever I feel like it. I learned and developed many new skills related to art and drawing .Creativity was one of the many skills I acquired while working on my project since I had to find what art to create that’s why it made me express myself. It also builds up confidence because
using these materials makes a person turn that art piece into visual stories. As the art improves in quality their self-confidence increases. It continues to grow every time I see myself creating new art that is better than what I did before. Decision making is also another thing I started realizing I had to start learning. Since I had many decisions to take in order to see in which way my art pieces were going and what would help it be more creative and look better. It also helped be concentrate much more since all my concentration is going towards one piece at a time. I had to concentrate in order to try and
Make every single brush stroke look neat and perfect. Their were time that I thought that I can’t work on art anymore and that I should take a break since it can be very challenging. Although I never quit creating more art it helped me to work on my perseverance.

Mental Health Course
Although society’s attitude toward mental illness has improved, discrimination and misconceptions surrounding those affected are still prevalent. This course, Mental health practice: Bonnyrigg, explores a number of issues relating to mental health practice, including the difference between mental health and mental illness, and the discrimination that can arise when people experience some form of mental distress.
